Motivated staff
We are building a winning culture by actively putting our core values and leadership skills into practice.
In 1971, Jos van Loon started out as a butcher specialising in the catering trade at Jan Louwers’ wholesale centre in Eindhoven. Since then, the Van Loon Group has grown organically and through strategic acquisitions to become a leading, innovative Dutch producer of the tastiest and most sustainable meat and convenience products.
Our head office is located in Son en Breugel; in the Netherlands, we are organised into two divisions – Meat and Convenience – and manufacture products at eight sites across the country. Since 2023, we have held a minority stake in Q-Food Belgium.
As the Van Loon Group, we operate our own supply chains for pork and beef. Working alongside our livestock farmers and supply chain partners, we act as supply chain coordinators to ensure the ongoing development of our supply chain concepts in the areas of animal welfare, the environment and health. Van Loon Beef & Pork supplies pork and beef to other processing companies and to our industrial customers.
As a private label manufacturer, we supply a wide range of delicious, high-quality meat products and hybrid meat products to our retail customers. Each company specialises in its own particular area, ensuring that production and logistics are carried out as efficiently as possible.
Through Van Loon Foodservice, we offer a comprehensive range of products for the foodservice sector, industry and export markets. From fresh meat and cooked meat products to ready-made meals, meal components, soups, sauces, salads and innovative convenience solutions. Van Loon Foodservice is the umbrella brand that also encompasses our trusted brands such as Enkco and Bonfait.
Our sites in Oude-Tonge and Denekamp together form the Van Loon Convenience division. Here, we produce chilled meals, meal components, (pasta) salads, soups and sauces for the retail sector, foodservice and specialist fresh food shops.
Q-Group develops and manufactures innovative fresh meat products, meat products and convenience foods for our Belgian and French customers in the foodservice and retail sectors.
Successful, sustainable, and animal-friendly business practices are only possible if they are embedded throughout the entire supply chain. As a supply chain coordinator, we ensure that the required working methods are properly implemented by every link in the chain.
We are an enterprising family-run business based in Brabant that has been supplying meat products, fresh meals, soups and sauces to customers in the retail, foodservice and industrial sectors across the Benelux for 55 years. With over 2,400 employees and 11 production sites in the Netherlands and Belgium, we are leaders in translating customer needs into innovative, flavourful products and sustainable supply chain concepts.
Winning together by making the most sustainable, tasty and healthy meat and convenience products accessible to everyone.
Healthy and sustainable food should not be a luxury.
We are the market leader in meat and convenience foods by making good food accessible to everyone.
Ever since 1971, we have been constantly asking ourselves how we can do things better. How we can collaborate more effectively throughout the supply chain. How we can produce more efficiently and sustainably. That is why we continue to innovate, test and learn. Day in, day out. So that we can offer our customers and end-users the very best.
We look for solutions where others see threats. That is why we invest in a culture of entrepreneurship. Our aim is to deliver the best results by coming up with smarter and more innovative ideas every day.
At Van Loon Group, we are an integral part of society. As such, we take our responsibility for the world of tomorrow seriously. We shape the future through sustainable relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers. And we always do so with respect for people, animals and the environment.
We are proud of our family history. Since 1971, we have been a team of dedicated staff who understand that success can only be achieved by working together. As a team, we take responsibility, demonstrate decisiveness and perseverance, and thus have the right mindset to succeed together!
At the end of 2025, we updated our five-year strategic plan, STAP-27. For each strategic pillar, clear objectives for 2030 have been set out, along with a plan for achieving them. This programme has been named STAP-30 (Sustainable Tasteful Affordable Products – 2030).
To monitor progress on this strategic programme, the OGSM framework (Objectives-Goals-Strategies-Measures) is used throughout the organization. In this framework, ambitions and objectives are linked to the strategy, along with associated KPIs and actions. These actions contribute to the achievement of objectives; Achieving through Action. Every quarter, the results of the actions are evaluated, and adjustments are made where necessary.
